TIYANAK follows the harrowing journey of MAYA and SID, a couple whose lives are shattered by the tragic loss of their newborn during a home birth. As Maya grapples with profound grief, her relationship with Sid becomes strained, as she finds herself increasingly isolated. Struggling to find a path forward, SID, arranges an intimacy retreat in the Philippines to repair their relationship. However amidst the contrived intimacy exercises, Maya discovers that she’s inexplicably pregnant again, whilst Sid develops a strange bond with a pig that sends him spiralling down a dark path.
